Skipping ahead to Thing 9 after sending edit requests for the Wiki.
Flickr is definitely something I will be exploring and hopefully showing my own work someday.
Again, it's a good way to get exposure if you're a photographer or any other type of artist.It's good exposure in general because people can explore the world through these pictures,and find things that perhaps they didn't even know they were interested in.
One of the minor challenges with this and information gathering in general is trying to find the right tags or sequence of words to get exactly what you are searching for.
As a very private person myself,I'm wary of putting too much personal information on the web.I see a lot of people are more at ease with sharing their lives in photos/videos/blogs etc.
