I'm not sure how I would use geotagging at this stage.I can imagine many uses,more on a person to person level,for example,if long distance friends or relatives want to know more about your neighborhood or city,they could click around the links you've made.It could be a nice way to explore the world,depending on how people tag their photos.

I looked at Picasa,but Flickr looks more comprehensive.
